Boosting the health of the health of our rivers (9/12/2020)

9 December 2020

Boston Manor Park is bordered by the river Brent, where Thames 21 is carrying restoration works in partnership with the Environment Agency, Hounslow Council and groups of volunteers.

Volunteers got stuck into litter picking on December 9 and more volunteer activity sessions are coming up to add large wood and felled trees into the river channel. Logs and fallen trees are a natural part of the river system. They help keep the river healthy and provide food and shelter for wildlife.

If you’d like to help please contact Adam Asquith by emailing adam.asquith@thames21.org
