Tool Used for Exercise
Hounslow commenced work on the Cost of Care exercise with providers in April 2022. Hounslow opted for the Domiciliary Care ARCC Tool. As a nationally recognised tool this gave more support throughout the process to both commissioners and providers. The tool is co-developed with providers and commissioners which provided assurances to the market. It includes the majority of the key fields for data collection for analysis and validation for the Cost of Care (COC). Hounslow will consider the tool to support future exercises as the market are familiar with it.
