Homeless or worried about becoming homeless
Rough sleeping is the most visible form of homelessness. As a council we seek to prevent it at the earliest opportunity, although we are only able to assist those willing to receive our help.

Christmas tree recycling
Real Christmas trees will be collected in January 2025 between Monday 6 January to Friday 17 January.
Please note: Only Christmas trees will be collected. All decorations, pots and stands need to be removed before they are placed out for collection.

Parking
Over the festive period - parking charges will be suspended in council controlled car parks (excluding Chiswick House and Gardens*, which is privately owned).
The dates for FREE are from Monday 23 until Thursday 26 December 2024 and Monday 1 January 2025.
- Monday 23 December - Normal enforcement. No pay to park (what used to be called pay and display) charges.
- Tuesday 24 December - Normal enforcement until 6pm, then reduced enforcement until 7pm. No pay to park (what used to be called pay and display) charges.
- Wednesday 25 December (Christmas Day) - No enforcement of resident or shared use bays. No pay to park (what used to be called pay and display) charges.
- Thursday 26 December (Boxing Day) - No enforcement of resident or shared use bays (except for Hounslow Heath CPZ). No pay to park (what used to be called pay and display) charges.
- Friday 27 December - Normal day
- Saturday 28 December - Normal day
- Sunday 29 December - Normal day
- Monday 30 December - Normal day
- Tuesday 31 December - Normal enforcement up to 6pm, reduced enforcement up to 7pm
- Wednesday 1 January (New Years Day) - No enforcement of resident or shared use bays (except for Hounslow Heath CPZ). No pay to park (what used to be called pay and display) charges.
- Thursday 2 January - Normal day
Please note: Enforcement by CCTV cameras monitoring bus lanes, yellow box junctions etc will continue across the festive period.
