Allotment strategy and policy
Allotments have made a revival over recent years because of their vital role in connecting people to the process of food production, promoting health and wellbeing through exercise and healthy eating and bringing the community together to share advice experience and a passion for growing food.
The London Borough of Hounslow and Lampton Greenspace 360 share these values and is committed to working with partners and allotment holders to support and plan for allotments, and to strengthen its roles to maintain and enhance them, ensuring they will be there for future generations to enjoy.
A successful seminar held in Autumn 2019 helped us shape future plans for Hounslow’s allotments and form our Allotment Strategy 2020-2025
