Hounslow Council, in collaboration with Alzheimer’s Society, will host ‘Living Well with Dementia’ on Tuesday, 20 May at the Great Conservatory in Syon House.
Published: Wednesday, 30th April 2025

The free event is one of a series of events and activities taking place in Hounslow during Dementia Action Week (19-25 May) to support people with dementia, their families, and their carers.
Local people affected by dementia can book for free, come along and connect with others. They can learn more about the condition and the support available in Hounslow. The event will also feature dementia-friendly games, interactive workshops, expert talks and opportunities to speak with professionals for guidance and advice. Hounslow's new Dementia Directory will also be launched at the event.
There will be a range of other free events across Hounslow throughout the week, from information sessions with AgeUK and Alzheimer’s Society, to exercise sessions with Lampton Leisure. The week is packed with fun and informative activities to raise awareness of dementia and help those with the illness to relax and have fun.
Councillor Lily Bath, Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care, Public Health and Transformation, said:
We have worked with our partners to put on a great programme of events for Dementia Action Week, raising awareness of the condition and helping residents connect with the services they need. I encourage anyone affected by dementia, including family members, friends and carers, to come along and see the great range of support that’s on offer in Hounslow.
