Starting in December, Hounslow Council will deliver free regular employment sessions at Hounslow Library and provide support through Community Hubs.

The sessions are designed for residents who need extra help to access opportunities and services. These include residents with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and those who have been in care.

Participants can meet employment advisors for a friendly chat about job searching, CV writing, interview preparation and more, helping them access information and guidance on pathways for employment.

The sessions include:

During the sessions, eligible residents can register for Work Hounslow’s personalised one-to-one employment support, which includes scheduling meetings with an advisor for career planning discussions.

Councillor Samia Chaudhary, Cabinet Member for Education, Children, Skills and Employment, at Hounslow Council, said:

Hounslow Council is committed to creating an inclusive borough where all residents can thrive.

The Work Hounslow team works closely with residents including young people who are facing barriers to employment. With our help, we want them to become confident in exploring career options and fulfilling their potential.
