Sky dive event in August 2017
The new Mayor took to the skies – literally! To kick-start her year of charity fundraising, on Monday 28 August 2017, the mayor put the “height” into the height of summer, when she made a sponsored 10,000 feet freefall parachute jump at Brackley Airfield, on behalf of one of her charities; the Pink Ribbon Foundation.
Mayor of Hounslow, Sue Sampson, took part in the Walk4Refuge charity walk raising money for one of her chosen charities, Refuge. The Mayor joined other walkers in crossing 4 of London's most iconic bridges; Tower Bridge, Southwark Bridge, Millennium Bridge and Westminster Bridge.
