Freeman/Freewoman of the Borough

The London Borough of Hounslow came into being on 1st April 1965 in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1963. It was created by the merger of the Feltham Urban District Council and the former Municipal Boroughs of Brentford and Chiswick, and Heston and Isleworth.

Second Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers

Regiment has served in every major campaign dating back to 1674, most recently in Afghanistan.
