Polling stations
Polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm on Thursday 7 May 2026.
Your polling station may have changed since the last election. Please check your poll card for details on your polling station or use the polling station finder below.
Voter ID
You will need to show valid ID at the polling station, or you will not be able to vote on polling day.
You can view a full list of accepted photo ID on GOV.UK.
If you do not have an accepted form of ID, or your photo no longer looks like you, apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate (VAC).

You can visit your local library if you need help completing your application.
The deadline to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate (VAC) is 5pm on Tuesday 28 April 2026.
