SEND Local Offer: List of events

  • Who: for young people aged 16-24,  who are not in employment, education or training (NEET), individuals with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and those who have been in care.
  • Location: Hounslow Community Hub and Library
  • Time: 3pm (sessions will run for 30 minutes between 3pm and 4.30pm)

  • Who: Disabled and Neurodivergent children aged 5-11 years old
  • What: Fun, engaging football activities focused on participation and enjoyment
  • Location: Heston Community School, Hounslow TW5 0QR
  • Time: 1pm to 2pm
  • Cost: Free

  • Who: for young people in Hounslow borough with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their families and carers.
  • Learn about:
    • Community access service - Supporting adults (18+) with learning disabilities or autism to access community opportunities and develop independence.
    • Travel training service - Training people aged 16+ with disabilities to become confident and independent travellers on public transport.
    • Employment opportunities service - Supporting adults (18+) with disabilities to find and retain meaningful paid employment.
    • Prevention, transition and development service - Supporting adults (18+) with disabilities to reduce isolation and overcome barriers to thriving.
    • Project search - supported internship - One-year work-based programme for young people aged 17-24 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
  • Location: Virtual - on Teams
  • Time: 6pm to 7pm
