There are three options for starting school later than the September of your child's age group according to their date of birth.
These are:
- Delayed admission for summer-born children: When you decide your child will start reception a year later.
- Deferred admission: When you decide your child will start school according to their age group, but will not start in September.
- Part-time admission: When you decide your child will start school in September according to their age group, but initially on a part-time basis.
