If the person you care for is a resident of the London Borough of Hounslow, there are a number of support groups that you are welcome to attend. The groups are informal and provide a great opportunity to meet other carers, share knowledge and get support from each other.
Below are some of the carer support groups running in Hounslow:
Learning Disability (Hestia)
Long-term conditions - including dementia, cancer, M.S. and Parkinson's (Hestia)
Mental Health Difficulties (Carers4Carers)
Parent Carer Forum - for carers of children and young adults (0-25) with a disability or special educational need
Our Barn Carer Drop-in Sessions - all carers
Feltham Carer Get-Together - all carers
Integrated Neurological Services (INS) - M.S., Parkinson's, stroke and other neurological conditions
Hounslow Bereavement & End of Life Support Service (Mulberry Centre)
Other options may be found on CarePlace.
If you would like to help Hounslow Council improve services for carers by sharing your experience and ideas, you may wish to join the Carers' Operational Group.
