Toner and ink cartridge recycling

Takeback for Schools is a free ink and toner cartridge recycling scheme.

How does it work?

  • The school will need to register with Takeback directly.
  • They will provide a free collection when there is a minimum of 20 cartridges from their qualifying list. See Takeback website for qualifying list
  • Once you have enough cartridges for a collection you can book via the telephone, email at collections@takeback.ltd.uk or online via the collect my cartridges webpage
  • However, if you only have small quantities of inkjet cartridges (the little ones) they can send freepost bags for you to put these in and post back free of charge. They provide additional bags for children to take home to allow their families to also recycle cartridges from home.
