Neurodivergence

Neurodivergence describes cognitive function that differs to societal standards which are often referred to as neurotypical. Neurodivergent conditions include, but are not limited to, ADHD, Autism, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.

Within the neurodivergent community valuable strengths and skills are often accompanied by areas of challenge or difficulty.  Neurodivergence and neurodiversity are not the same. Neurodivergence is a blanket term to describe those whose brain develops differently than most others.
