Carer participation group
Hounslow Carers Service is passionate about improving support for unpaid carers and want to get current and former unpaid carers involved in shaping services.
We would like to hear about your experience of the carers assessment process and gather your views on how we can better support unpaid carers in the future.
Join the September Carers Participation Group
We are holding a Carers Participation Group in September focused on carers assessments.
The group will be led by Nadia Atiq, Hounslow Carers Service Manager, and Wioletta Lewandowska, Principal Social Worker (PSW) for Adult Social Care. A significant part of the PSW role is to ensure that the support meets the needs of unpaid carers and that any guidance and support are in line with the Care Act 2014.
This group will be an opportunity to share your experiences, discuss what has worked well, highlight areas for improvement, and help influence future services for unpaid carers in Hounslow. You are welcome to stay for as much or as little of the session as you wish.

- Date: Friday 25 September 2026
- Time: 10.30am to 2pm – stay as long as you like
- Venue: 6th Floor, Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, TW3 3EB
- Accessibility: Lift access available
- Refreshments: Complimentary refreshments will be provided
