Health Outreach Team
Hounslow’s Health Outreach Team (HOT) is a community-based service that provides residents with information on local health and wellbeing support services.
The team also offers:
- blood pressure checks
- Body Mass Index (BMI) checks
- Advice on health concerns, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, stop smoking services, mental health service plus much more.
Residents can visit the Health Outreach Team at:
- Treaty Centre, Unit 18, High Street, Hounslow, TW3 1ES.
Opening times are:
- Tuesday to Friday 9am - 5pm
- Saturday 9am - 5pm
- Closed Sunday and Monday
The HOT bus is regularly out and about at venues across Hounslow. Residents can just pop down to any of the below locations to have a blood pressure check, discuss health concerns or receive the flu and COVID-19 vaccines. There is no need to book an appointment, just turn up on the day.
The Health Outreach Team will be at the following locations on the following dates:
- Thursday, 31st July – Cranford Community College – 2pm to 4pm
- Tuesday, 5th August – Heston Leisure Centre - Health and Wellbeing Walk – 10am to 11am
- Thursday, 7th August – Family Hub Fun Day Old Isleworthians, Memorial Ground, Wood Lane, Isleworth, TW7 5ED – 12pm to 4pm
- Friday, 8th August – Community Hub, Brentford Library – 10am to 2pm
- Friday, 8th August – Danehurst Shelter Home - Health and Wellbeing Walk – 10am to 11am
- Wednesday, 13th August – Heston Health Centre, Near Vicarage Farm Road – 1 to 4pm
- Thursday, 14th August – Cranford Community College – 2pm to 4pm
- Friday, 15th August – Boston Manor Park - Health Advice along with a Health and Wellbeing Walk – 10am to 4p
The Health Outreach Team also works closely with a variety of NHS services such as sexual health, social prescribing, and the councils Healthy Hounslow service.
