The Vision 2050 engagement process is as important as the product. A variety of creative methodologies were used to ask people about what they thought the future might look like and what legacy they want to leave for future generations. We asked residents, business owners, council staff and partners to write postcards from the future, paint the future, build or design the future, debate the future, art jam in schools, tell stories, question each other, attend workshops or focus groups, complete surveys and take part in interviews. This page provides some of the outputs from these engagements.
Vision 2050 has also been informed by research, data and foresight. A technical annex detailing the data that informed each of the Forces of Change and the different stages of the life course.
