We restrict vehicle access to Staveley Road and Hartington Road in South Chiswick.
For Staveley Road, access is restricted in both directions.
For Hartington Road, only northbound access is restricted. This starts to the south of the junction with Chiswick Quay. Vehicles with pre-registered licence plates can travel in a northbound direction (i.e. away from the A316). Southbound travel along Hartington Road (i.e. towards the A316 and Chiswick Bridge) does not require a permit.
The restricted hours are between 8am and 7pm from Monday to Saturday. The restriction is controlled via automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) camera technology.
Vehicles cannot access these roads during restricted hours unless they have a permit or are otherwise exempt.
Who can access
Access for visitors or deliveries is not permitted. These vehicles need to find an alternative route via the A316, A4 and Sutton Court Road.
