Guide to choosing a school or education setting

Schools with resource provisions

A resource provision is a reserved space within a mainstream school for children with specific Special Educational Needs (SEN). Children in a resource provision usually have an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan and spend most of their time learning in regular classrooms, alongside their peers. However, they also have access to extra help, specialist staff, and tailored resources in a dedicated space within the school when needed. This helps them get the support they need while still being part of everyday school life.
