All-age autism strategy

Our all-age autism strategy is a five-year plan being overseen by an Autism Partnership Board. It involves seven sub-groups concerned with various priorities for the autistic community.

The strategy will be co-produced with:

  • autistic people and their carers
  • partner agencies

It will seek to:

  • improve understanding and acceptance of autism within society
  • improve autistic children and young people’s access to education, and supporting positive transitions into adulthood
  • support more autistic people into employment
  • tackle health and care inequalities for autistic people
  • build the right support in the community and supporting people in inpatient care
  • improve support within the criminal and youth justice systems
  • improve housing

Get involved

We want members of the autistic community in our borough to help co-produce and shape the strategy.
