Request a highway extents (boundary) search for property or land

When purchasing a property or land, your solicitor will request a highway extents search to mark the boundaries.

A standard highway extents search will identify:

• Information on the property or lands relationship to public highways
• Where a property is next to or shares a boundary with a publicly maintainable highway
• If there is any intervening land between property and public highway
• A plan showing the extent of highways and adopted roads in relation to the property

How much it costs

We charge £70.30 for a highways search and that payments can be made via bank transfer.
