Background
A Lawful Development Certificate was submitted on 16 September 2024 for the “existing use of the properties as bed and breakfast accommodation”, which was refused by the Council on 08 November 2024.
The applicant has exercised the right to appeal against the Council’s decision not to grant a Lawful Development Certificate.
The appeal process and feedback
The appeal will be in the form of a Public Inquiry. The Inquiry will be held as an in-person event at the venue below:

The Inquiry will open at 10am on Wednesday 03 September 2025 and close on Thursday 11 September 2025. There will be two sitting days: Wednesday 03 September 2025 and Thursday 11 September 2025.
The Inspector has powers to determine the appeal and issue a final decision on the proposed development, and for this Appeal - the appointed Inspector is Mr Andrew McGlone BSC, MCD, MRTPI.
