Apply for an event day Zone R parking permit

There is a controlled parking zone (CPZs) in Hounslow near Twickenham Stadium called Zone R.

It covers residential areas that get busy when an there is an event at the stadium where 60,000 or more spectators are expected.

If you or a visitor to your home wants to park in a resident parking bay on event days, you need an event day Zone R parking permit.

If you're unsure if you live in a CPZ, you can search for your street on a map. CPZs are outlined in blue.

Cost

Zone R resident and visitor parking permits are free.

This is a digital permit. It is valid for as long as you own the vehicle and live at your address.

You need to update your details if you:

Each permit covers 30 sessions of parking. Each session covers a day of visitor parking on an event day in a Zone R CPZ, lasting from 11am to 11pm.

You can apply for a maximum of two permits in a 12-month period.

Any person who has one or more outstanding Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) with the London Borough of Hounslow will not qualify for a permit, until such time as the PCNs are paid in full. This excludes cases that are at appeal with the Independent Adjudicator.
If the overall height exceeds 2.27 metres and/or the length exceeds 5.25 metres you will not be eligible for a permit.
These permits do not require renewing and are valid for the period the resident lives at the property.
The permit is only valid for the vehicle registration number shown on it.
The permit allows the holder to park in zone R Resident and Shared Use Bays (where Residents’ Parking Permits are acceptable). They are not valid on any other type of restriction.
The issue of a permit does not guarantee a parking space.
If you no longer reside at the address for which the permit is issued, we reserve the right to cancel the permit if another individual provides proof of occupancy for the same address.
