Hounslow Council Leader congratulates New Year Honour 2024 recipients

Hounslow Council leader Shantanu Rajawat has congratulated Hounslow-related recipients of the 2024 New Year Honours List.

Leader of Hounslow Council, Shantanu Rajawat has congratulated Hounslow-related recipients of the 2024 New Year Honours List which marks the achievements and service of extraordinary people across the UK.

The honours system recognises people who have made achievements in public life and committed themselves to serving and helping the UK.

Cllr Rajawat said:

Our congratulations go to all the Hounslow-related recipients of the 2024 New Year Honours list: Lee Doyle, BEM, CEO, of Brentford FC Community Sports Trust and Jonathan McGoh, OBE, Co-Founder and Trustee, Reach Academy, Feltham, for being rightly honoured for their services to sport and education respectively.

Hounslow Council is so pleased that your fantastic work in supporting communities and young people in the borough and boosting their skills and confidence has been recognised.

Our congratulations also go to District Judge Timothy Jenkins, OBE, of Brentford County Court for services to the administration of justice, and Ms Kathryn Leahy, OBE, former Director of Operations at Heathrow Airport for services to aviation transport and to major events.
