I am deeply shocked and saddened to hear about a suspected arson incident that took place on Wednesday 20 May.
"I am deeply shocked and saddened to hear about a suspected arson incident that took place on Wednesday 20 May, on Whitton Road in Hounslow and a separate attack on a property on Wellington Avenue in Hounslow, on Monday 18 May. My thoughts are with all the victims during this difficult time. We are working closely with the police on these incidents and at this stage they are not treating them as hate crimes and it is believed there is no risk to the wider public.
"I understand many residents may be concerned following these incidents, police patrols have been increased in the area and anyone with concerns is asked to speak to police officers."
