Working closely with Lampton Leisure and specialist contractors, The Council has been able to ensure delivery of a poolside area meets the highest standards of safety and quality, ready to welcome residents back to enjoy swimming once again.
The Council recognises how important the pools are to local families, fitness enthusiasts and the wider community, and would like to thank residents for their patience and understanding while the works were completed.
Swim School members will receive further information shortly with everything they need to know ahead of lessons restarting.
Cllr Salman Shaheen, Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and Public Spaces, said:
I’m thrilled that the Brentford Fountain pools are reopening for our community to enjoy once again. Swimming is one of the most popular and accessible forms of exercise, and I know how much local residents have missed having this facility available. My thanks go to everyone involved who has worked to deliver this work, and to all our residents for their patience. I look forward to seeing the pools busy once again with families, young swimmers, and those keeping active and healthy.
