Hounslow Council, in partnership with JCDecaux UK and West London Chambers of Commerce, has launched the 2025 Advance for Growth competition.
The initiative offers one small business a unique opportunity to raise their profile and grow through a year‑long package of digital advertising, mentoring and networking.
Since 2022, Advance for Growth has supported some of Hounslow’s most exciting entrepreneurs, helping them reach new audiences and create local jobs.
The 2025 winner will benefit from a full year of premium digital Out‑of‑Home advertising across the borough in 2026, along with expert guidance and Chamber membership.
Cllr Shantanu Rajawat, Leader of Hounslow Council, said:
Advance for Growth has quickly become a showcase for the best of Hounslow’s entrepreneurial spirit – bold ideas, creative talent, and businesses determined to make a difference.
This year, we are looking forward to seeing how our local innovators will rise to the challenge once again.
This fits in as part of our wider Opportunity Hounslow Business Case for Growth, highlighting how innovation and collaboration can unlock growth, create jobs, and strengthen the opportunities available to our residents and communities. I’m excited to see which business seizes this chance in 2025.
Chris Collins, Co-CEO of JCDecaux UK, said
We’re delighted to be working with our partners Hounslow Council and West London Chambers of Commerce as we take the Advance for Growth initiative into its fourth year, supporting local businesses and SMEs through the power of the public screen.
Last year's winners, Small Ceramics, used their prize of Out-of-Home advertising and tailored business guidance to increase brand awareness, build trust and drive results for their brand.
They've set a great example for this year's competition, and I am really looking forward to seeing entrants take this opportunity to scale and grow their businesses.
Sally Smith, COO, West London Chambers of Commerce, said:
We are really pleased to be involved again with the Advance for Growth Competition, now in its fourth year. We very much enjoy our working relationship with JCDecaux and Hounslow Council to encourage our aspiring Hounslow based SMEs.
Our three organisations are all dedicated to promoting Hounslow as the place to do business. The competition celebrates the diversity of our SMEs and micro businesses. Our past winners demonstrate this: Hang!, Wild Chai and Small Ceramics – we continue to follow their businesses.
Applications are open until 9am on Monday 14 October 2025. Eligible businesses must be based in Hounslow, employ fewer than 25 people and have been trading for at least 12 months. The winner will be revealed at the West London Chambers Business Awards in November 2025.
