Hounslow Council’s popular Summer Fun Day is returning for a second year, taking place at Old Isleworthians Sports Club in Isleworth, on Thursday, 7 August, from 12pm to 4pm.
Following the success of last year’s event, the second annual Family Hub Summer Fun Day promises a vibrant afternoon filled with free, family-friendly and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) friendly activities. Bringing the community together and providing engaging outdoor entertainment for the whole family. Entry and all activities are free and there is no need to sign up, meaning people can simply turn up on the day.
Families can look forward to a wide range of activities including a bouncy castle, baby sensory play, a petting zoo, music and dance sessions, multi-sports, and rock wall climbing. The event is inclusive, with a dedicated quiet zone and activity zone for children and young people with SEND. Hounslow Council's SEND Local Offer team, SENDIASS, and Universal Support team will be on hand to offer guidance and help throughout the day. People can also explore stalls with information on local services and support available to families across the borough.
