Financial help for those who have to self-isolate or are in financial crisis

If you've tested positive for Covid-19, you will have to self-isolate for 10 days from the day your symptoms started, or if you did not have symptoms (asymptomatic), from the date of your positive test.

If you have been told you've been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19, you must self-isolate for up to 10 days.

You will also be told how many days this is for, depending on when you last had contact with the person who tested positive.

Financial difficulties due to Covid-19

We understand that for some people it may be difficult to pay your essential bills, if you’re not able to work and do not get sick pay during this time.

Although the track and trace self- isolation payment is only for people who have to isolate, there is other financial support available you can access.
