Safeguarding adults at risk

Making sure people over 18 can protect themselves from abuse.

People we support

  • anyone over 18 in need of care and support.
  • someone experiencing, or at risk of abuse; and as a result of their need for care and support is unable to protect himself or herself against the abuse or the risk of it

With the right support people can manage physical and emotional abuse, neglect and exploitation. This support can come from social work, medical professionals, police and support workers.

How to report

If you suspect someone's at risk of abuse, report it as soon as possible
