You can use this for a maximum of 104 journeys a year.

How to qualify
To get a Taxicard if you need to:
- get the higher rate mobility component of the Disability Living Allowance
- score eight points or more for the moving around activity part of Personal Independence Payment
- be registered severely sight impaired or blind (not partially sighted)
- receive War Pension Mobility Supplement
You could also qualify if you have:
- a long term disability which affects your ability to use public transport
- a child under three who requires bulky medical equipment that’s difficult to carry

The Taxicard costs £10.
Your application will take six to eight weeks to process. It can take longer if extra information is needed.
