Paying your service charges and ground rent
You must quote your 14-digit payment reference number when making payments.
You can pay your service charges, including major works, building insurance and ground rent in the following ways:
Online
Pay service charges and ground rent online
To pay online, select leasehold payments from the list and put in the details of your bank account and debit or credit card. All 14 digits of your leasehold charge account number (for example, service charge) are required and amounts must be entered in full eg. £10.00 not £10.
Standing order and direct debit
These are our preferred and suggested payment methods because there is automatic payment each month. It is efficient, cost effective; it avoids queuing, and unnecessary paperwork.
Organise directly with your bank or request a standing order form from the Leasehold Income Management Team to complete and then take it to your bank. A standing order is an arrangement between you and your bank.
You should contact them to stop any payments that would result in overpayment or to change the amount you pay.
Set up a direct debit to pay your leasehold charges from your bank account. A direct debit form should be requested from the Income Management Team and returned to them signed and completed.
We do not permit: Diners club, Electron and American Express.
Over the phone
You can pay over the phone using a debit or credit card by telephoning 0300 7906871.
Please note: this call will cost no more than national rate calls to 01 or 02 numbers, from a landline or mobile. Select the ’14 digit service charge’ option. You can also use this option to pay ground rent, building insurance and major works.
Have your leaseholder account 14-digit number details and credit or debit card details ready as well as a pen to write down the transaction number at the end of the process.
