The Hounslow Family Information Service (FIS) is provides information and signposting about local support and services for children aged zero to 19.
It is for:

- carers
- young people
- professionals
The FIS also manages the Hounslow’s Family Services Directory (FSD), providing information and signposting about local support and services for parents of children aged zero to 19.
What we offer
- Start for life: For babies from conception to two years.
- Childcare and Early Years Education: Ofsted-registered childcare and help towards childcare costs.
- Children’s Centres: Activities and support for families with children aged zero to five years.
- Family Hubs: Connecting families with children aged zero to 19 or up to 25 with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) to a range of services that can address their needs at the earliest opportunity.
- Parenting classes and support groups
- Information for young people aged 11 to 19
- Activities and things to do: Help finding stay and plays, youth clubs and holiday activities.
- Holiday Activities and Food Programme: Free holiday provision to eligible children and young people during the school holidays, including healthy food and activities.
