There are three ways to renew your items:
- In person - bring your library card and the item (or a note of the item details) to the library.
- By telephone - tell us your library card number or the barcode number(s) of the items you wish to renew. Library telephone numbers are found here.
- Online - go to the online catalogue - Log on to 'Borrower Information' by entering your library card number and PIN.
If you have forgotten your PIN number please email us for a new one.
Note: Please be aware that if the fines on your card reach over £2.50 you will be unable to renew your items online or by telephone until the fine is paid. In this instance, please visit the library to pay your fine and renew if possible.

How to request, reserve and renew items
You may request items from another library in the borough free of charge. You can reserve and renew your items in person at any library, by telephone or by using the online library catalogue at hounslowlibraries.org
Our online catalogue enables you to search our entire library collection. To help you manage the items you have borrowed we give all library members their own online account. Your online account shows you what items you have on loan, when they are due on how to change your PIN. You will need your card number and PIN to access your online account.
