Changing your nationality on the electoral register
If you have recently changed your nationality and would like to update your details on the electoral register, please visit www.gov.uk/registertovote and complete an application with your new nationality.
Alternatively, you can inform us of this change by providing your full name and address, as well as a copy of one of the following documents:
- Passport
- Certificate of naturalisation
Please return a copy of one of these documents either:
- as a scanned attachment in an email to elections@hounslow.gov.uk
- or by post to: Electoral Services, London Borough of Hounslow, Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow TW3 3EB
If you hold dual citizenship, please list the nationality that grants you more voting rights. For more information on the types of elections you may be eligible to vote in, please click here.
If you are registered to vote at an address outside of the London Borough of Hounslow, please contact your local council's Electoral Services team to inform them of this change.
