Hounslow Council welcomes you back to your public halls

As restrictions lift in line with the government’s roadmap out of national lockdown, we are delighted to announce that as of 12 April, the Borough’s public halls are now open, and we can welcome you back to the following locations:

Following a successful transfer of public hall services to the Council on 1 November 2020, Hounslow’s public halls are now fully managed by the Borough.

We have carried out extensive work to ensure our venues are well-presented, and more importantly that we can welcome everyone back safely. Our sites will be deep cleansed prior to opening and we are installing safety measures such as hand-sanitiser stations and COVID-secure signposting, which will ensure staff, members and hirers can keep safe and observe social distancing.

Resumption of community groups/activities must be in line with current COVID restrictions for the London Borough of Hounslow.

Restrictions may apply as follows:

  • You can have up to
    • 15 people for wedding or civil partnership ceremonies – but receptions are not permitted
    • 30 people for funerals
    • 15 people for wakes or linked ceremonial events (such as stone-settings) before or after the funeral
  • You can attend places of worship for a service but you must not mingle with anyone outside of your household or support bubble.

Because of these restrictions, please ensure that you complete a COVID-reflective Risk Assessment which will detail how you intend to resume your activity with the appropriate social distancing measures.  Our Venues Management Team will be on hand to provide you guidance as necessary.
