Greener borough

Enjoying our parks and open spaces

Images from around Hounslow's parks collaged together in a postcard

With over 160 parks and open spaces in the borough there is something for everyone.

Hounslow is filled with green spaces, with access to parks at your doorstep. The Parks team continuously work to improve our open spaces and encourage visitors to take care of our parks.

Walking is one of the best ways to get around our borough, and consequently a great portion of our parks have perimeter pathways and walking routes for ease.

Play is an important factor of health and wellbeing and our parks are the place for just that. With over 40 playgrounds; some newly developed, adventure play and multi use game areas, there is something for all ages.

Nature and Wildlife

Hounslow is home to a variety of species and habitats, come along to one of our education or conservation activity days that are hosted by our Countryside Rangers at Bedfont Lakes, Hounslow Heath and more as well as our team at Boston Manor Park who would be delighted to welcome you.

Might spot a noctule bat, hedghog or even a skylark!

With Boston Manor restoration complete, enjoy the house and park that is open every day of the week as well as Syon Park, Osterley Park and Chiswick House and Gardens open all year round.
