The Economic Recovery Regeneration Taskforce is leading on ascertaining the potential economic impact of coronavirus and lockdown in the borough, and identifying new interventions, services and opportunities to mitigate the impact and support residents and businesses.
It’s also identifying the impact on construction and house building, and ways to support this sector locally, particularly to help the delivery of affordable homes.
Chaired by Council Leader Steve Curran, it held its first meeting on Saturday 6 June 2020.
