Community Led Schemes (CLS)

Hounslow Council has launched a three-year programme to deliver a range of community led schemes (CLS), requested by local residents, businesses, and councillors over recent years.

Currently the CLS Programme consists of 24 localised highways schemes ranging from junction improvements, local safety schemes, improved footpath links and upgrades, bus stop accessibility improvements and low traffic neighbourhoods.

Our primary schemes, which will be progressed between 2022-2023 include:

  • Hounslow – Hall Road junctions with Central Avenue, Heath Road and Eaton Road
  • Hounslow - Heath Road, Chatsworth School
  • Feltham - Saxon Avenue
  • Feltham – The Vale
  • Heston & Cranford - North Hyde Lane
  • Heston & Cranford – New Heston Road
  • Isleworth & Brentford - Syon Lane
  • Isleworth & Brentford - Spencer Road
  • Isleworth & Brentford - Layton Road/ Brook Lane North

Further details on the above schemes can be found on the specific area pages.

The implementation cost of CLS programme is set at £1.5m, which is to be delivered over the three-year period and is funded by the Council’s General Fund Capital Programme. There is the opportunity for more schemes to be added during the three-year period, so long as they can be accommodated within the approved financial timeframe.
