- Nomination papers must be hand delivered to the Returning Officer at Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow, TW3 3EB between 10am and 4pm on any working day from the date of publication of this notice (excluding bank holidays), but no later than 4pm on Thursday 9 April 2026.
- Nomination papers may be downloaded from www.hounslow.gov.uk/elections, or can be obtained by emailing the Deputy Returning Officer at kully.tumber@hounslow.gov.uk. The Returning Officer will, at any elector’s request for any ward, prepare a nomination paper for signature.
- If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 7 May 2026.
- Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Monday 20 April 2026. Applications can be made online: www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
- New applications to vote by post or postal proxy, or to change or cancel existing postal, proxy or postal proxy arrangements must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 21 April 2026. Some applications can be made online: www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote
- Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 28 April 2026. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate can be made online: www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate
- New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow, TW3 3EB by 5pm on Tuesday 28 April 2026. Some applications can be made online: www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote
- Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Hounslow House, 7 Bath Road, Hounslow, TW3 3EB by 5pm on Thursday 7 May 2026. The person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5pm on Tuesday 28 April 2026.
