The government provides funding to help with childcare:

Tax-Free Childcare

For working families with children aged 0 to 11 (or up to 16 if disabled).

15 hours funded childcare for two year olds

For families who are receiving some additional government support or whose immigrations status means they have no recourse to public funds.

Up to 30 hours funded childcare for children from 9 months to 4 years old

For working families that meet eligibility criteria.
