Hounslow Council's Thriving communities fund
The Thriving Communities Fund (TCF) supports not‑for‑profit organisations and resident groups to improve the lives of Hounslow residents and help make the borough more equal, greener, safer and vibrant. It provides grants to charities, voluntary and community groups, and places of worship to encourage social action and strengthen communities in line with our Thriving communities strategy 2024 - 2028 (PDF, 2MB)
1. Small grants: currently closed
Small Grants are for informal and incorporated organisations that can deliver locally based, small scale, impactful community projects promoting social cohesion, civic pride and volunteering. The grant can also support testing ideas and running pilots spring boarding an idea and organisation to becoming more sustainable.
2. Revenue fund: currently closed
This grant provides funding for constituted not-for-profit organisations to reduce inequality in the Borough by Place and by People.
3. Capital fund: currently closed
The TCF Capital Grant invests in local capital projects that create a lasting benefit for local communities. We aim to support initiatives that help communities adapt to and benefit from new development, strengthen community infrastructure, and advance our corporate ambitions for a greener, cleaner, healthier, thriving, liveable and safer borough.
