We provide mental health assessment and treatment for children, young people and their families.
This is through our children's and adolescent mental health service, sometimes referred to as CAMHS.
The service is available to anyone in the borough of Hounslow up to the age of 18.
Our services
Depending on the young person's needs, we can provide:
- child and adolescent psychiatrists
- psychotherapists
- family therapists
- psychologists
- nurses
- primary mental health workers
- allied health professionals
We also provide consultation and advice to mental health professionals.
Making a referral
We accept referrals for children with severe and/or complex emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties.
You can make a referral to CAMHS as a:
- GP
- social worker
- health professional such as:
- paediatricians
- school nurses
- health visitor
- adult mental health service professional
- professional in a school, such as:
- educational psychologist
- SENCO
- behaviour support team member
- tier two multi-agency team member
