Adolescence support and prevention service
The adolesence support and prevention service (ASAP) works with young people from 11 to 17 years old and their families who require targeted intervention, often at a difficult time in their lives, to help them to achieve a better outcome.
Young people needing this service may be at risk of:
- involvement in anti-social and offending behaviour
- having negative peer relationships
- being involved with substance misuse
- experiencing difficult transitions
- exploitation from others or exploiting others
- experiencing difficulties in home environment or at school
The aim of the service is to support young people to develop their strength and self-esteem to help them make positive choices.
