Important update: Virtual Permits and Emission Based Charges from Friday 28 February 2025
From the 28 February 2025, all new resident parking permits will be issued as virtual. Existing paper permits are still valid until they expire. Virtual permits are linked to your vehicle registration and checked digitally by enforcement officers.

Prices are based on how long you want the permit for and what CO2 emissions band your vehicle falls under.
Your vehicle’s CO2 emissions will be stated on the inside left page of the logbook, or you can check them online via the GOV.UK Vehicle Enquiry Service.
