Celebrating Our Local Carers
The Hounslow Carers Awards 2026 is a special event dedicated to recognising and celebrating the incredible contribution of unpaid carers, professionals, employers, and organisations who support carers across the borough.
Join us as we honour those who go above and beyond to care for others and strengthen our communities.
About the Awards
The Hounslow Carers Awards recognise individuals and organisations based in the London Borough of Hounslow who have made a significant impact in supporting unpaid carers.
Nominations are open to:
- Unpaid carers
- Professionals
- Organisations
- Employers supporting unpaid carers working within their organisation
This year, the Awards will be held on Friday 20 November 2026 at Hounslow House.
The timings will be announced prior to the event.
Award Categories
There are a range of award categories to celebrate different types of contributions:
- Inspirational Carer of the Year: An unpaid carer who has inspired others
- Excellence in Caring Award: Outstanding care provided to a loved one
- Bringing People Together Award: Helping communities connect
- Light in Someone’s Life Award: A carer who brings positivity and joy
- Young Carer of the Year Award: For carers under 18
- Supporting Carers in the Health Sector Award: Healthcare professionals/organisations
- Supporting Carers in the Social Care Sector Award: Social care professionals/organisations
- Supporting Carers in the Community & Voluntary Sector Award: Community-based support
- Supporting Unpaid Carers in Employment Award: Employers going the extra mile
Nominations
Do you know someone who deserves recognition?
Nominate them for an award.
To complete a nomination, you will need to:
- Select one award category
- Provide basic details about the nominee
- Describe the support they provide
- Explain why their contribution is outstanding
All nominations must be for individuals or organisations based in the London Borough of Hounslow.

How to Submit a Nomination
If completing the digital form, it will be returned to us automatically once you have finalised your nomination.
You can submit a hard copy of your nomination form in the following ways:
- In person: via Hounslow Carers Service staff at events
- Email it as a photo attachment to: carers@hounslow.gov.uk
