The inspection, conducted in March, assessed the overall experiences of children and young people at the home.
Ofsted praised the home for delivering highly effective services that consistently exceed expectations and contribute to significantly improved outcomes for children and young people.
The report noted that the efforts of the staff team have resulted in positive experiences and remarkable progress for the children and young people who stay at the home, making a real difference to their lives.
Councillor Samia Chaudhary, Cabinet Member for Education, Children, Skills and Employment at Hounslow Council said "I’m delighted to see such a positive result for our short break care home. This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of the entire team, who strive every day to provide the highest standard of care and support to the children and young people in care in Hounslow, helping them to thrive, regardless of personal circumstances."
One parent, whilst describing their experience of Westbrook said “Westbrook and the staff has been unforgettable. I was introduced to Westbrook when my son’s behaviour became very challenging, and we the parents can no longer cope. Westbrook has done the magic of bringing down his behaviour to a very manageable level. He is always looking forward to his sleep over days at Westbrook. I wish to appreciate the good work Westbrook is doing in the lives of the children who are fortunate to be exposed to the magic at Westbrook. The member staff are excellent.”
