The celebration event, held on Tuesday, 8 April in Hounslow House, showcased the impressive range of businesses created by these talented individuals.

During the event, the graduates had the opportunity to present their businesses, sell their products, and share the inspiring stories behind their entrepreneurial journeys. The businesses represented a variety of industries from t-shirt designs to gaming accessories, highlighting the creativity and passion that each young person brought to their venture.

Councillor Samia Chaudhary, Cabinet Member for Education, Children, Skills and Employment at Hounslow Council, who attended the event, said: “We are incredibly proud of these young people who have worked so hard to bring their ideas to life. This programme has given them the tools, skills, and confidence to turn their dreams into reality. It’s a true testament to their dedication and ambition.”

One of the young entrepreneurs, Logan, who started his Business Thundersports said “I have wanted to do this for a really long time.  I have now got all the courses, qualifications and training I need. I am now ready to offer my sports coaching business to the community.”

Hounslow’s young entrepreneurs are now poised to make their mark on the local business scene, and the support shown at this event highlights the bright future ahead for these passionate individuals. This supports the Council’s Youth Skills and Employment Guarantee initiative, which involves working closely with businesses, partners, and organisations to support young people aged 14–25 in accessing skills and employment opportunities across the borough with ease.
