Made up of 2,000 residents from all ages, backgrounds, and experiences, the Hounslow Residents Panel will reflect the diversity of the borough. Members can choose to take part in surveys, focus groups, and discussions about Council policies and services, local issues, and future plans. Current ways people can get involved include participating in a consultation on the new Housing Strategy for Hounslow and taking part in a survey on the Planning Enforcement Plan

The panel is run by SMSR Research Ltd on behalf of Hounslow Council. SMSR is a trusted and independent research company, specialised in public consultations. They handle all personal data securely and only use it for research and engagement purposes.

Recruitment for the panel will close on Monday 2 June 2025.

Councillor Shantanu Rajawat, Leader of Hounslow Council, said:

Our Radical Overhaul of Consultation and Engagement Programme (ROCE) set out our commitment to being a ‘listening council’ – making sure all our residents have a real say in how local services are shaped and delivered. As part of this new approach, we are inviting residents to join the Hounslow Residents Panel.

By giving your feedback, sharing your ideas, and highlighting issues that affect your community, you will help us understand what different groups across Hounslow need and care about. This will enable us to make better informed decisions based on real community feedback and improve services across the borough.
