85 per cent of Hounslow children offered first preference primary school

On National Primary Offer Day, 85 per cent of Hounslow children received their first choice of school, to continue their studies with, in September.

85 per cent of Hounslow children offered first preference primary school

The figures were released by the Pan London Admission Board, responsible for the coordination of school admissions across London, on Tuesday, 16 April.

The data for Hounslow reveals:

  • 85 per cent of families were offered their first choice of school
  • 96 per cent were offered one of their top three schools
  • 98 per cent were offered a place at one of their six preferred schools

Families will receive an email with the results of their application after 5pm on 16 April. They need to accept their child’s offer using the national online EAdmissions portal by 30 April. After this date it won’t be possible respond online.

Families that were not offered their first choice of school will also be sent a letter on 16 April, explaining their options and next steps.
